Polaris RZR Off-Road Vehicles Recalled

The CPSC and Polaris have recalled Polaris RZR and GENERAL Recreational Off-Road Vehicles, model years 2020 through 2022. The steering wheel may separate from its assembly causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and creating a crash and injury hazard. About 8,800 of these vehicles were sold in the US and 940 were sold in Canada. If you own one of these vehicles, contact Polaris by phone at 1-800-765-2747 to check whether your vehicle is included in the recall and to arrange for a free repair with installation of a new steering wheel.
My recall database shows that this is the FIFTH recall for Polaris Off-road vehicle in 2021. Other defects in these vehicle besides repeat steering system issues include throttle problems, braking issues, and engine hosing problems. This record qualifies Polaris for addition to the buyer beware list.

Essential Medical Supply is recalling Endurance Hand Bed Rails. When these rails are attached to a bed, a person may become entrapped within the bed rail or between the rails and the side of the mattress possibly leading to asphyxiation. About 104,900 of the Carex bed rails were sold at home health stores and online at carex.com and amazon.com. About 272,000 of the Endurance Bed Rails were sold home health care stores across the country and online at amazon.com and walmart.com.
