Delta Cycle Ceiling Hoists may unload on you

The Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Delta Cycle Corp. have recalled Delta Cycle Ceiling Hoists with Straps. The plastic strap buckles tend to crack and drop a kayak, canoe, or any large suspended load down on you leading to injuries. Apparently the straps and buckles are strong enough to hold bicycles. Affected is model RS2300.
About 25,140 of these ceiling hoists were sold in the US and about 3,390 were sold in Canada at REI and various other independent stores and online at Amazon.com and designbydelta.com.
Stop using these ceiling hoists until you have contacted Delta Cycle Corp at 1-800-474-6615 or via the email hoiststraprecall@deltacycle.com to obtain free replacement straps.

If swallowed, these tiny batteries can trigger burns anywhere along a child’s gastrointestinal tract with severe consequences including death.
About 984 rabbit ear headbands were sold as part of Glow in Dark Party Supplies Toy Sets at amazon.com.

Those with an allergy to milk could develop a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction should they consume this product. The recall product code is LN0525453 with use by dates of 3/20/25 and 5/20/25.

This bacterium causes a severe gastroenteritis that may progress into a life-threatening systemic infection in the very young, older frail individuals, and those with weakened immune systems.
The contaminated product was sold in Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Texas and Virginia during mid-August.
