Their lithium-ion batteries tend to overheat. This recall affects model numbers A1647, A1652, A1257, A1681, and A1689.
About 481,000 of these batteries were sold at Best Buy, Target, and other stores, as well as online at Amazon, AliExpress, eBay, Walmart, and TikTok between August 2023 and June 2025.
Stop charging and using these recalled power banks. For a refund, visit Anker’s recall page at anker.com to verify your product serial number and register. If your battery is affected, you can choose a cash refund or an Anker gift card after submitting a photo of the recalled device with identifying information written on it. Anker will provide instructions for return or disposal. Do not throw these lithium-ion batteries in household trash, curbside recycling, or retail battery bins.
